IN TODAY'S EPISODE WE CATCH UP WITH ALEXANDER CRUZ AT HOME DURING QUARANTINE!
ALEXANDER SHOWS US HOW HE IS SPENDING HIS TIME, ANSWERS SOME FUNNY QUESTIONS AND IS CHALLENGED TO DO A HEAD STAND - SPINNING WINS BONUS POINTS!
"I secretly enjoy this question because my dad was in the army, so I had a lot of 'homes'. I am Puerto Rican; I was born in Mannheim, Germany and grew up in Prince George, Virgina."
WHERE ARE YOU QUARANTINED?
"Well I have the pleasure of being quarantined with my best friend in our downtown LA apartment."
"haha I feel like we're on a date, I'm a Cancer. Do you have the costar app? We should link up *wink*"
"Oh that's easy, Thanksgiving. I was really excited for last year's because I was in charge of making the turkey for our Freindsgiving. It was a masterpiece!"
"I've never been more confident to answer a question haha. I recently watched "Captain Marvel" and I have to say, she is a boss! She is practically invincible, she looks over all of the galaxies AND she only wants to use her powers for good...Dude, I think my mom is Captain Marvel..."
AS A KID, WHAT WAS YOUR DREAM JOB?
"As a kid I wanted to be an architect. My mom's side of the family lives in New York, so when we would visit I would be amazed by these metal giants reaching for the sky with all of their intricate detailing. Eh it was a nice dream at the time, but I've got one that suits me a little more."
DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE DESIGNERS OR BRANDS?
"Nobody is going to see this right? Haha oh gosh, I definitely dress based on my mood. Obviously I'd like to say all of them but if I have to choose I'd say... Balmain, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Levis, Dior, Calvin Klein, Chanel. See I knew I couldn't just pick one."
NOW HAVING TO SPEND ALL DAY AT HOME, WHAT KIND OF ADJUSTMENTS WERE YOU FORCED TO MAKE TO YOUR NORMAL ROUTINES?
"I'm definitely an active person so not having a gym or some fun outdoor park was a little rough in the beginning. If anything this quarantine helped me look for other solutions. It was a little annoying to figure out a home workout routine and where I could escape to get fresh air, but eventually it all worked out."
ANY NEW SHOWS/BOOKS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS?
"Oh yeah here we go! Ok so I think I've got a few gems. ' A little Life' is an amazing book by Hanya Yanagihara. I swear you won't regret investing in it. The show "Day Break" on Netflix is pretty hilarious. It's given me a couple ideas if the world goes left haha. Oh and the movie "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan" on Starz had me glued every second."
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEALS/TREATS THAT YOU HAVE MADE AT HOME DURING QUARANTINE?
"Baked eggplant Parmesan without a doubt. My roommate recently cut meat out of his diet so I decided to explore some veggie dishes."
WHEN THE CRISIS IS OVER, WHAT IS SOMETHING AT THE TOP OF YOUR TO-DO LIST?
"Man anything and everything. There are so many things I want to do, from seeing friends and family to going back to work and traveling. I'm just ready to get back to living life to the fullest."
WHAT IS ONE THING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT PEOPLE MAY BE SURPRISED TO LEARN?
"Well if I tell ya then it's not a surprise haha. But I cheered throughout high school and college. My college team competed at nationals down in Daytona Beach and we got second. That was pretty awesome moment not going to lie."
WHO DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
"That's easy, my parents. I was able to witness them build a life, graduate college, conquer insane obstacles and go after their dreams. They showed me anything is possible and I love them more than they know for that."
